Welcome to the Master Your Game® Business Tools & Resources area!

To follow is a list of the tools and resources I highly recommend and use when it comes to building and running Master Your Game® HQ online.

I have used every recommendation on this page and hope that you find them just as useful as well.

With that said, before checking it all out for yourself, please note that some of the links listed are affiliate links. This simply means that should you choose to make a purchase, I will earn a commission. This commission comes at no additional cost to you.

Please know that I have used each of these products and/or services and only recommend them because I think they are helpful and awesome, not because of the small commissions I make should you decide to buy. With that in mind, please do not spend any money on these products unless you feel you need them or that they will help you achieve your goals.

Now, over to the list!

I don’t like to play favorites, so here’s the list in alphabetical order…

Making a video or presentation? Did you know that you can actually purchase music online, royalty free for this sort of thing? Audio Jungle has so many different styles of music you can use too! Rad.

If you have been reading my blog for a while, you would know that I have a slight addiction to books. I see them and grab them right away, even though I know I may not get to read them for another year… or more! The fact the Book Depository has free delivery worldwide is probably another major reason my addiction continues.

Canva is awesome! If you want to design, but don’t have experience or aren’t trained to use programs like Photoshop or InDesign, then Canva will rock your world! It is an online design hub, where you can create your own posters, social image headers, presentations among other things, and all with a simple drag and drop system. And the best part is its free, with a paid option as well! Sensational. Picmonkey is also a great way to do these sort of things and is free to use too!

Crazy Domains offers hosing, domain name registration, privacy, website builds, newsletter systems and more. If you haven’t registered your domain name yet, you can use these guys or other places such as Go Daddy.

Love ConvertKit. It is a subscriber based email system which means that instead of having a heap of separate lists for all your subscribers and paying more money to do so, ConvertKit lets you add tags to your awesome customers, so you can tell in an instant the things they love about your business and what you do. It means you need not email them about things they don’t like either. ConvertKit wrote a great article on their blog titled, 5 reasons you should NOT switch from Mailchimp. It is one of their most read blog posts and may be helpful if you are deciding between the two. I have used both and love them both. As it stands though, I have switched to ConvertKit as it serves more of the needs I require as a business moving forward. Oh and they have great ‘how to’ videos and support team too! Gotta love that!

Creative Market rocks my world. I love it. It is a place that offers design ready files, photos, images, templates, web themes and a whole heap more! Everything on the site is developed by talented creatives and you get to benefit from their awesomeness. Need to get creative? Hit these guys up, they rock!

Dropbox has been a brilliant asset to me. Not only can you store all your files, you can backup your WordPress website to Dropbox, share folders with one or more people and have a place to access everything you need from any computer in the world.

Need a design, logo, flyer? Sometimes this can be a very expensive process, however when you are just starting out in business, or if you are running on a small budget, Envato Studio gives you access to amazing designers all around the world that can do all of this! You can view their previous work and ratings by others before you choose who to work with. These guys have a range of people with specialised expertise, so not only can you access designers, you can access web developers, web designers, people who code for websites and much more. Similarly, you can also try Fiverr for these types of services too!

$5 a gig! People will make a logo for you. Edit images. Do small tasks on your blog. Save time. Practically anything! Fiverr is a great place to outsource small tasks you don’t know how to do, or don’t have time to do yourself. Just remember, you get what you pay for, so it pays to know exactly what you are after from the get go.

Similar to CrazyDomains, GoDaddy offers hosting, web services, email, domain registration and more.

This pack is made up of 33 game planning printable and fillable instant downloads designed to help master your game in business and life. Simply print off and handwrite your game plans, or fill out onscreen, whichever you prefer!

All Master Your Game® Courses have been designed in a straightforward, actionable and relatable way to best help you to master your game in business and/or life. They have also been created to establish clarity in these areas so you can get to work on what it is you do best.

I have used these guys to set up multiple landing pages in my business and they have worked well. LeadPages is also another good option that does the similar to that of Instapage.

Mailchimp is fun and easy to use. It is also free to use for your first 2,000 subscribers. If you are just starting out, Mailchimp is a great place to start! It has some great reporting and drag and drop templates for your emails too.

Almost everyone knows PayPal. If you are collecting payments on your site, I would recommend Paypal. These guys or Stripe. Both have been good to use in my experience.

This is a great free resource of images sourced from all over the world. There are paid options in here as well, there is a huge variety of free stock though!

PicMonkey is great for anyone who doesn’t use Photoshop and wants to touch up photos, create image quotes, resize images and more. It is free to use with a paid option available as well.

Skype is great for having meetings with your clients or team. You can screen share, see each other via video calls, or even just call if you like! Best part, it is free to sign up and use for these services too!

Stripe is an online service that allows you to collect money without a merchant account. Much like PayPal, it enables you to transfer and collect funds for your business, projects and / or hobbies.

These guys make the most beautiful, sleek and easy to use WordPress themes. I absolutely love what they do! They are a bit pricier than a lot of other WordPress themes out there, but well worth it in my opinion.

SumoMe offers a great way to capture email address and analyse where people are spending time on your website. Entry level is free too!

Teachable rocks! When it comes to creating an online course for your audience, look no further. Not only do they have great service and support articles, they make building an awesome course website easy. You can even create coupons and affiliate links for your courses too!

Themeforest is another site that creates amazing themes for websites. They don’t just stop at WordPress themes though. They have thousands of options across a huge range of platforms and are widely used across the globe.

It is so important to keep your website backed up regularly. If something happens to your site, it is great peace of mind to know you can revert back to an earlier back up should your site be hacked or something go wrong. UpDraftPlus is the world’s most trusted WordPress back up plugin and the great thing is, they have both free and paid options as well. Yeehar!

WordPress is an open source software system used by thousands and thousands of people and businesses all over the world for their websites. Being open source, this means there is a lot of information out there on WordPress, which makes life just that bit easier when it comes to the management of your website. Whether you are a retail store, blogger, creative, service based supplier or something else, WordPress is customisable and easy to use.

I love Xero. I am certainly not an accountant by any stretch, but using this accounting software has made me feel on top of my game when it comes to knowing where I am at with my money, invoicing and bills. I highly recommend this to anyone who is thinking about going from spreadsheets to an accounting software program. Love the customisable dashboard and reporting features too!
